"World Representative of Nirai Kanai and lustful boy king who houses the memories of the celestial emperor. Boasts that there is no one in the world who doesn't love him, and is quick to make moves on anyone who catches his eye. Renowned as a hardy warrior with extreme skill in archery, he has 24 whistling Arrows in his quiver that serve as his Sacred Artifacts and contain the power of the sun itself. Many say these Arrows can target any location anywhere in the world with perfect accuracy as long as the sun shines there, and are controlled as though they're extensions of Teda's own body—a claim stemming from a legend which states that Teda once took the form of sunlight and conceived a child within a lover's body in a land called Pyazu. The only people with whom Teda does not get along well are those who would dare obstruct the grace of the sun."

"To push death and parting past the horizon line and seal them away there, actualizing an eternal world... That is the System of Nirai Kanai. And at the very core of this System is none other than the Rule which Teda bears. He has free claim over all, as long as the sun shines down upon it from on high. Yet therein lies the rub, for his influence cannot reach those areas where the sun does not. Places like the ocean floor, positioned as it is not upon the brightly lit surface of the earth but deep down below, are thoroughly cut off from his favor. He calls this dark abyss Obotsukagura, and obsesses over those who disappear into its depths. Those whose lives reflect these selfsame concerns receive his full sympathy."
